Internet Users Have Reduced Rates

According to a survey conducted by the Institute for Information Society Development and Empowerment (LPPMI) of users of telecommunications services from different backgrounds, it was revealed that the majority of respondents considered the Internet service tariff is still expensive.

A total of 81.25% of respondents wanted that lowered tariffs for data services.

"Users want a rate reduction with a maximum limit of up to Rp 50 thousand per month. Respondents also want a quality network and better customer service," said Kamilov Sagala, Executive Director LPPMI in Jakarta, December 7, 2011.

From the survey, note also that the majority of customers prefer the current data service with unlimited subscription patterns. Number reached 88 percent. The average expenditure for data services is Rp50 thousand to USD 100 thousand.
